Strawberry Pie Jello Recipe
This recipe for strawberry pie jello is very easy to make. You can even use a readymade pie crust for this recipe if you do not want to make one yourself. So, even if you are novice at making pies, you just cannot fail with this simple and easy recipe. |
Assuming you are using a readymade pie crust, here is the recipe for the filling. You will require around one pounds of strawberries, 1/2 packet of strawberry jello, one cup of sugar, 3 tablespoons of cornstarch, one cup of 7Up, Cool Whip and mint leaves.
Take the 7Up, cornstarch and sugar in a pan. Cook this mixture until it begins to boil and starts thickening. Remove the pan from the heat and add the jello powder to it. Allow the mixture to cool. In the mean time, slice up the strawberries. Place them evenly in the readymade pie crust. Then pour the sauce on top of the strawberries.
Now transfer the pie to the refrigerator and allow the strawberries jello to set. This will take around 2 to 3 hours. Remove from the refrigerator, and use the Cool Whip to decorate the pie along with the mint leaves. And, your strawberry pie jello is ready to be relished by one and all.
The best part about this simple recipe is that you can choose to use whole strawberries or sliced strawberries. As the jello will bind the strawberries together, there is no problem with the size of the fruit you use.
