Chicken Pasta Casserole Recipe

Here is a chicken pasta casserole recipe that you can make and enjoy this tasty dish. First make sure that you have all the ingredients at hand. This recipe calls for around 2 cups of fresh orange juice, 3/4 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1/2 tablespoon of dry white wine, 3/4 tablespoon of vegetable oil, 1/4 tablespoon of honey, 1/4 tablespoon of grated orange peel, 1/4 tablespoon of grated ginger root, cayenne pepper according to taste, 4/5 kg of boneless and skinned chicken thighs, 3/5 kg of Penne, 3/8 cup of peas, 1/2 tablespoon of fresh parsley, and salt to taste.
Mix the orange juice, soy sauce, wine, oil, honey, orange peel, ginger, salt and cayenne pepper together. Then add the cut pieces of the skinless and boneless chicken into it. Ensure that the chicken is well coated with the mixture. Chill the chicken pieces for around one to two hours, while turning over the pieces periodically.
Preheat a broiler. Remove the chicken pieces from the marinade and broil the pieces. While broiling, make sure that you brush the marinade on the pieces. Keep broiling until the chicken loses its pink color.
In the mean time, pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Set the broiled chicken pieces aside. Cook the Penne pasta as per directions. Add the peas to the boiling pasta water and cook the peas along with the pasta. Drain the pasta and peas. Rinse with cold water.
Transfer the pasta and peas to an oven-proof bowl. Add the marinade and mix well. Cut the chicken into strips and place over the pasta. Add salt and pepper along with the parsley over the chicken. Place into the oven and bake for around 30 minutes with a cover. Serve hot.
