Recipe 1:
This recipe requires the following ingredients:
One pound of ground lean meat
One onion
One egg
Half a cup of milk
Half a cup of bread crumbs
Around quarter cup of parsley, chopped
One teaspoon of dried herbs like oregano or thyme
Salt and pepper
Six slices of bacon - optional
Method:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Mix all the ingredients together and your hands to ensure that they are properly mixed. Thereafter, transfer the meat mixture to a loaf pan. You can add the slices of bacon on top. Instead of bacon, you can also use barbecue sauce. Now transfer the loaf pan into the oven and allow it to bake for around 30 minutes.
Remove the pan from the oven. Let it cool moderately before removing the meatloaf from the pan and serving it.
Recipe 2:
For this recipe, the ingredients are as follows:
One cup of bread crumbs
Half a cup of raw or sautéed vegetables like tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers and onions
One egg
One and half pounds of ground lean beef
Dried herbs (You can use fresh herbs if you have them)
Salt and pepper
Method:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, combine all the vegetables with the bread crumbs. Make sure you mix the breadcrumbs and vegetables well. Then add the ground meat and eggs to the vegetables. Add all the herbs and spices. Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan and introduce into the oven. Cook for around 90 minutes. This meatloaf has to be served hot.
