If you are looking for an easy pumpkin bread recipe, then you have come to the right place. This recipe hardly takes around 10 minutes to prepare, and another hour to cook.

However, you can make two delicious loaves of pumpkin bread.

In order to make pumpkin bread, you will need the following ingredients:

16 ounces of pumpkin puree

3.5 cups of plain flour

2 cups of sugar

3/4 cup of brown sugar

1 cup of vegetable oil

4 eggs

2 teaspoons of baking soda

1.5 teaspoons of salt

1.5 teaspoons of ground cinnamon

A pinch of ground nutmeg Butter

Make sure you pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large bowl, add, flour, salt, all the spices, both the types of sugar, and baking soda. Mix it well. Take another bowl and mix the pumpkin puree and oil together. Then fold in the eggs one at a time until the pumpkin puree oil and eggs are blended smoothly. Butter two loaf pans, and pour the batter into them. Place the pans into the oven and allow them to bake for around an hour. After an hour, check to see if the pumpkin bread is ready. You can do this by pushing in a knife into the bread and removing it. If the knife comes out clean, the bread is ready. Otherwise, allow the bread to bake for another 5 minutes.

Cool the loaf pans. You have the choice of serving the pumpkin bread warm or at room temperature. If you want to be a little experimental, you can walnuts, raisins or even cranberries to your pumpkin bread.
