Likewise sprinkling finely chopped nuts on yoghurt, adding extra whites to make omelets, filling sandwiches with cheese, using cheese in vegetables, soups, rice and noodles will encourage them eat food with additional supplements of nutrients. You may change the regular meals into a social event where they are with other people and can enjoy the food with others. Buying food items of their choice would also make it easier for them.
Those who have dietary restrictions can add some spices, herbs or tastemakers to enhance the taste of food. A positive outlook can certainly address the issue of malnutrition in older adults.
