Low Fat Low Carb Receipes
There are people who find only low fat food not very helpful in reducing weight other things being same mainly carbohydrates. If one is having extra quantities of carbohydrates than prescribed, then it is of no use. Similarly, cutting down carbohydrates and adding fats to ones diet is also not advisable, as even a small amount of bad fats if taken can raise your weighing machine's needle enormously. So, what is required is that one should have some way where food can be prepared in a manner where both the factors are taken care of. There are many low calorie foods that are actually low in fats, carbohydrates and proteins. Some of them include broth based soups like rainbow soups which have vegetables of different varieties. One can choose to add lean meat to the soup. Some other foods could be low starch vegetables and low sugar fruits. Few puddings can be considered where the calorie count comes from sugar substitutes not from the dairy products which are mainly high in fat contents. One such example is snow pudding.
Few other interesting recipes are asparagus which is roasted in an oven; cauliflower rice; salad that is mixed with watermelon, cucumber and mint; oven baked rutabaga fries; instant pumpkin pudding; and mushrooms and pepper with wine and herbs. There are a few high protein foods which are cooked without sauces. Instead they are baked, grilled poached or cooked in a microwave. They are also excellent low fat low carbohydrate foods. To name a few -- baked talapia, unstuffed cabbage, oven baked salmon with herbs, chicken fajita, beef fajita, grilled Mexican chicken, and sugar free BBQ baked beans.
