Although it takes years to cultivate the good standards of food safety protocols but once adopted it becomes a practice thereby facilitating a reputed brand name. |
To earn the customer satisfaction regarding the food safety may seem to be a difficult task at the beginning, but a constant desire to attain it puts them at a higher level.
In order to make food safety methods as a habit and a routine practice the organization has to devote sufficient time in training of the management as well the staff. It has been noticed in many reputed organizations that although the management is well versed with the food safety norms but the same does not get transferred to the staffs who are actually handling the food. This results due to the lack of well planned training programs. Conveying the food safety practices down to the ground level should be the first priority of a management. The utmost requirement of such an organization is to have first trained managers and then to have in-house training programs conducted by trained personnel. No employee should be allowed to handle the food unless trained well.
Organizations must formulate standard operating procedures regarding food safety. The supervisors must oversee that the procedures are known by all the employees and are being strictly adhered to. The quality assurance and quality control supervisors must review all the training modules and materials before the training program begin. Organization at the beginning should assume that employees are not aware of the safety norms hence emphasis should be laid out on their training first.
