Roasting A Whole Chicken

Roasting is one of the simplest ways of enjoying a meal. Gone are the days when boiling and frying chicken would taste better. Roasting is definitely better than both. It certainly does not tend to be greasy as well as messy. Here are some best ways of roasting and be prepared to be considered as your family chef.

Firstly, assume you have to serve four. Secondly, preheat your oven to nearly 325 degrees F. If the chicken was placed in a plastic foil, uncover it as soon as you remove it from the refrigerator. Start with cleaning the chicken and washing it. Remove the giblets from the cavity and any excess of fat. Remove the outer layer slightly along with the tail. Place it on a pan with the breast-side facing you. Now for the stuffing you need to grind pepper and salt and apply it in the cavity. Next rub some oil and some spices as well as herbs .Sprinkle lemon juice as well.

Place the roasting pan in the oven preferably on the middle shelf. Start roasting the chicken. This should be done for nearly one hour. Again, it depends on most factors like size, quantity and quality. The easy and natural way to check it by inserting a clean knife inside and if it comes out neatly it You can also make use of a meat thermometer and if it shows 165 degree then you can assume that it is done perfectly. Once you remove it from the oven, cover it with an aluminum foil and settle it for few minutes. Now for an excellent dressing brush the chicken with olive oil and mustard sauce. Now while it is resting do allow a bit of ventilation as otherwise you room might filled with the smell which would not again be nice. Just before serving, uncover it and slice it up.
