Frying Turkey In Peanut Oil

Frying turkey seems so delicious and when you use peanut oil it just gets better. Peanut oil is considered to be the healthiest oil as it is cholesterol free. It is a good source of Vitamin E and is low in saturated fats. The turkey will taste superb as peanut oil has those extra flavors to it.

Firstly, you would require one big turkey followed by, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder and black pepper, 1 tablespoon of salt, nearly three to four gallons of peanut oil. Secondly, clean the turkey completely and rinse it. Apply salt, garlic powder, black pepper and any other ingredient. Let it rest for sometime maybe an hour. Heat the frying pot with peanut oil. Place the turkey once it is real hot. Place it slowly and submerge it in the oil. Let it fry for five minutes and once the temperature reaches 165 degrees, remove it and keep it aside for another couple of minutes.

You will surely be flooded with compliments and appreciation.

Peanut oil will add some nutty flavor to your turkey. Also deep frying need to be carefully done by taking extra precautions with respect to utensils .Do not use wet spatula or do not keep the water running. Kids should never come close to the fryer. Even while you are frying maintain a good distance from the pot. Do not keep peeping as sometimes the meat might break and the oil might splash out. Read the manual of your fryer to understand certain other rules and regulations. Make use of paper tissue to remove the excess oil if you happen to be fat conscious. However, once in a while having it with the oil will feel like heaven. Do not add any liquid marinade before frying although you can brush some marinade after it is fried.
