Cooking Steak In Frying Pan

You can get juicy, tasty and well done steaks by the following method. If you want rare or medium steaks, you can use the same method but all you have to do is reduce the cooking time. This method shows you that cooking steak in a frying pan is so easy and convenient.

Rinse the steaks using cold water and pat them dry. With a table fork, stab both the sides and puncture them all over. Sprinkle both pepper and salt on both sides and rub them well. Heat cooking oil a pan until it reaches a medium temperature and place the meat on the pan. Cover it with a lid and leave it for a minute. Wait until the sizzling sound stops and then open the lid so that the oil does not spray all over. Flip the meat using an egg lifter or a spatula and again repeat the process, this time for around 90 seconds.

Once the sizzling stops after cooking the second side, again flip the meat, and sprinkle garlic salt and other spices of your choice and again cook for 5 minutes with closed lid. Repeat the same procedure on the other side. Remove the meat, wait till the sizzling stops and then taste it. You would observe that the gaps that you made by stabbing are filled with the spices and flavor making it very tasty.

Remember that while cooking in the frying pan, if the pan dries out add little lemon juice with half cup water. Do not use more oil. After the water evaporates and sizzling has stopped, you can again close the lid. You can also sautéed onions in the pan before you place the steak to add more flavors. If you are experimental enough, a splash of red wine can add great flavor to the steak.
