Cooking Baby Back Ribs

You can slow cook the baby back ribs using your outdoor grill. Season your ribs with meat tenderizer, salt, paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper, onion powder and garlic powder and refrigerate them over night. Make sure the seasonings are blended well for best results. The next day, allow the ribs to cool down to the room temperature.

It is better to cook these ribs using coal grill and not gas grill to get the best flavor. You can start grilling by keeping the bone side down and make sure they are at least 3 inches away from the heat. Once your ribs start cooking, turn them frequently to prevent drying of the meat. You need to keep basting with a mixture of vinegar, water and the seasoning while the meat cooks. This would add a good amount of flavor. When the ribs are almost done, add the barbecue sauce to one side of the ribs, cook for a while, and repeat the process for the other side. You may have to keep repeating the process multiple times to complete the cooking process.

You can also get good results by slow cooking the ribs in an oven where you can have much more control on the output. Give enough time for the ribs to cook since if you cook in high heat, you may not get the best results. In the case of cooking the ribs in the oven, season the ribs overnight as mentioned for grilling and place it in the aluminum foil. Preheat oven to a temperature of 250° F before baking the ribs.
